Oscars!!!

MY O is 2 yrs old 13" long started in a 75 now he's in 120 with some silver dollars. he will eat frozen peas with the shell still on, (I cant figure out why he wont if I shell them) diced cucumber and diced up apple. all these and other types of food are used to supplement Cichlid Gold which is his main source of food.

I have a friend who's O will eat diced up carrots, mine wont touch them. Just try different foods and see what they like.
 
Peas? DANG!! I ben feeding mine penises. Peas be allot easier to get.
but yes, Oscars are opportunistic omnivores, what ever is in the water or falls in. I would only feed peas day before water changes as it is a laxative. once a week or 2 is good to keep them from plugin up
 
it can be a break in period, long as your Oscar a year old or more, just feed him that to break him into new food, they stubborn but not stupid, he will eventually eat it. after that can add to the treat menue
