depends on hte individual fish..but yeah large tank and good filtration and all should be well..

I would recommend it, Oscars are extremely rewarding fish to keep. If your tank is large enough and you have suffient filtration you wont have a problem. I would recommend keeping either two or four and above, I have had problems with three as two seem to be pairing up and one gets pushed around and is only allowed where the others let him. They don't injure each other just chase him (I think I got 2 males and 1 female) to certain spots in the tank.
^ That's my experience also. They don't actually beat them up & kill the weak one, but they'll keep the odd one in the corner and stress him.
I've heard large groups (6+) work best but I've never had the space for that many Os.
