have you seen the video of arowana's in the wild on youtube? as the fish is jumping for the spider in the tree you can see the drop eye. Sorry, but its true

That's a pretty general statement, based only form utube videos...LOL

Every fish with big eyes, when you pull them out of the water, have their eyes droop...call it gravity if you will!

Personally I hate drop eye! I think it does effect the look and the appeal of the fish. There is a cure! It's a black aro.

If it is not within your control whether your aro gets drop eye or not, u just have to accept the fish as it is. Since it all depends on your luck.

I don't really mind drop eye either.

There is no harm in trying to prevent it though. Ping pong balls or not...there is no problem with that.

Don't have one :) But would love one either way :) Would rather not the drop but hey :) If they get it :) Well lets just see when that time comes what i'll do :)

black aro's don't get drop eye. well at least mine (24") and a few others i've seen never had it.

jardini's get drop eye too. i use to have a 14" jardini w/ drop eye. Then I sold it to my friend and the eye went back to normal. i guess it's because the tank he put the jardini in was not that tall. though i'm not sure that's what cured it.
