so I went last night to take the last of this guys fish as he is shutting down his home made tank and he was just gonna trash it but said I could take a kick at dismantling it. He is actually turning this space in his basment into a home theatre space and had a nice star wars collection, he does have an in wall tank upstairs here are the pics

the cool thing is I think I can get the tank apart without trashing it whoooot 200g or so. The tank is a wee bit dirty but the substrate is loaded with babies who one of the fish taken the day before spit and I get to fish them all out.

I took home 9 fish last night and the 2 so called jack dempsy had the wierdest coloration here is a pic of one of them in my 300g beside one of the other jd I rehome last week

Thats awesome. Thanks for the cool pics. Noone I know except my mom has fish tanks. LOL I got some prize money last tournament and got her a nice 46 gallon bow front with all the goodies including an ac110 and an eheim 2215 with a 9 watt coral life twist. She loves it has some angel fish and rainbows in it. Other than that my GF has a 20 gallon planted she raises fry from her work in just for kicks. She also has a 55 with one neon tetra at the moment lol no joke. Got an aqueon filter and everything its kinda odd but she's on the ropes about giving it to me to raise some venestus fry :)

awesome! Must be cool to visit people that are just as much into fish than you :)

Yes I really love it when that is the case, but to many times some of the tanks I encounter just make me kind of sick.

For example I was going to a dudes house to take out all of his fish and rehome them and the water was full and I mean full of yukiness. He thought he was doing me a good thing by giving me the rocks out of his tank, so I took them. In times like that I try my best to give them some advice without really giving a slam. Here are the rocks.

truly there are better ways of getting color in a tank than poisoning fish with none tank safe paint on rocks

then I answered an add the other day to take the whole sw set up the person was shutting down. sounded nice over the phone but this is what I walked into.

again I try to look on the upside which is 50lbs of rock, the whole filter pump system, 70 lbs of sand, 2 clown, a purple fish and a snail, and a whole bucket full of chemicals etc.... for 300 bucks. total shame about the algae but fixable.
