Yey bay bay
I was reading on another website about other food that have more protein for polys, and they mentioned DOG FOOD.
They said that it has more protein than massivore and tilapia, and it will sink in the bottom.
Have anyone tried this method before?

I've read that before recently. It was on the predatoryfishkeep site. Something about king-el uses the lifetime brand fish meal. Mentioned that it was similar in shape as massivore, sinks and less oily. Supposedly to be more in vitamin content than massivore.

Me personally, I've tried the purinamills aquamax 300 floaters designed for trout and basses. Was 3 bucks per lb. At my lfs. Polys loved it, but didn't like how it breaks down. Made a mess on the bottom.

I wouldnt try it. Check out the stickies in the health section i thought there was one about feeding food meant for mamals to fish. I rver a thread similar to this in the general aquaria section too. More protein doesnt always mean its better for the fish. I would just stick with the mssivore and tilapia. Mayne mix in some omega one shrimp pellets my polys love em

Predatory fish are eatimg other fish that maybe gutloaded with plant matter too so essentially they are getting a balanced diet

Just one note. The fish meal variety from lifetime is made from fish as a top ingredients. Just curious if someone here uses. Massivore is high on cost. Just curious as well.

They looks pretty similar to each other, and this food cost less than massivore? Another thing is will the water chemical change from it?

I wish there was a good product like nls for polys. Massivore/carnivore is blah i dont feed it too often
