Relatively peaceful, easy to breed mouthbooding cichlid from Lake Malawi. Here is a link: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=2292
Also known as a yellow blaze cichlid. Kinda peaceful hap. I have three with one male just starting to color up at around 3 inches, they grow sort of fast with weekly water changes. Worth the wait for them to turn as they are very colorful. Dominant male lets two other ones know whos boss but nothing like crazy mbuna agression.

I bred them for a few years. Normally peaceful for Malawi ime. Nice color imo. Adult (male) size typically @ 5.5 inches up to 6 inches ime.
Ok. I'm plannimg on setting up a breeding group of them so I've been trying to get some info on them. Thanks!

I have a solo male and he has a nice yellow blaze but never devoloped the blue else where. I've seen smaller versions of his kin in tanks with females showing full color. I would def get a female or others of his kind.
