Must post pics of this little guy, I love otters!!!

I'm having the same trouble with a family of feral cats, and I'm solving the problem with a scoped rifle!

Shame on you for giving answers like that. the animal is only doing what it does naturally and it's a native animal too. If it was an invassive or exotic like say a stray cat I would agree with you.

I suggest calling F&W and asking them for suggestions on how to trap it Sometimes they are willing to help you out with it too.

:uhoh:

If its legal, I see nothing wrong with it...

I know a lot of intrusive species are annoying and its mainly our fault that they still populate areas with high population or even a farm pond. One case is the Canadian Goose, they're not even canadian anymore they are every damn where I turn where I live. The pond my apartment is in front of is only a half an acre at the most yet there are 30 plus geese in it everyday, it really gets annoying stepping in goose poop almost everyday on the sidewalk.:(

lol i hav a pet water otter...

Check F and W before you shoot it. In some states they are protected or have a seasons. They were protected around here while they tried to build the population back up so it was illegal to shoot them.
I agree they can and will destroy a fish population and I would not allow it to go on in my pond. Personally I would trap it and release it in a nearby river system. (F and W might even come out and do it for you)
But not before I got some nice PICS.:)

ive never seen the world tranquilize so murdered before lol.
