Our 270g Google Tank Build

Nice job. Beware of the placement next to your circuit breakers. I'm not sure if that is up to code being blocked by the tank.

I'm fully aware of that. That is one of the biggest problem that I didn't solve yet. I'm going to put a picture frame or something to cover it up. Now if something trips, not to bad. If a circuit breaker breaks we have a problem. Does anyone know if it can be moved?

Anything can be moved, for a price. Do you know an electrician?

Nope but I'll look around. Not sure if they can move it now since I have the tank there. It's a little late but I had to get the tank running ASAP. The fish we ordered came finally came in after months of waiting. We had two weeks to put it together since our friend was hosting it in his tank and I guess he didn't want to take responsibility if it died.

I think this will work for the canopy. Do I still use screws or nails for the frame since the wood is skinny?

I also add a temp gauge. Do you think it will be fine in the overflow? We also add two ground probes. One in the sump and one in the tank...just for extra safety.
