our changing goldfish

this guy use to be orange and white until we fed him duckweed, then he started turning yellow and white and pooping green poop. anyone else have this happen?

i had a fantail who was black and gold for about 6 months. with no change to his diet he lost all his black and turned white. the transition period lasted no longer than 2 weeks.

very mysterious to me.

ya i my gold fish was green and white until i started feeding him carrots now hes purple and has pink poop.

my goldfish was gold/orange

then i stopped feeding him and he started swimming upside down (swimming very slowly, almost like hes drifting)

Diet can affect fishes color.I read awhile back in TFH where a lady fed her pleco bloodworms and it's fins turned red.

I have one that started gold and slowly turned white over the past 7 years

i have a goldy that was completely orange and after a near death experience turned gradually white and is almost all white now

oh its true all right, its true, goldfish are some messed up fish, lol
