Our fish shipment

As a few of you know, I acquired a job at a local pet store, that specializes in exotic pets, including fish recently. As I am the only person there who deals with the fish, I thought I'd share a few of the items I decided to order for us, along with pictures! They've been selling fast! We sold 3 Florida Gars, in 2 days.


Fish List I chose:

- Florida Gars
- Chinese Hi-Fin Sharks
- Freshwater Lionfish
- Bettas
- Oscars
- Australian Rainbow Fish
- Snooks
- 2 Silver Arowanas (Juveniles)
- Large Koi
- Spanner T Barbs
- Blood Parrot Cichlids
- "Mixed" African Cichlids (Red Zebra Cichlids, Yellow Labs, Mbunas Etc..)
- Frontosas

I order fish for a shop in the uk, I don't get to order so many awesome tank busters but last year managed to get a Henlei ray and currently I have a castexi sunspot ray. Always wanted a high fin shark but never been available here

Are they illegal in the U.K?

From what I've heard, they are illegal in the UK. Where do you order them from? I've been told that they are an endangered species over in China where they come from and they aren't allowed to sell them anymore, not that they aren't, but its illegal. I bought a few for my koi pond this past summer, but was curious how they are still being sold. Supposedly they are impossible to breed in captivity. There isn't alot of information out there on them, and what is would likely be hit or miss on correctness, but I'm still trying to learn as much as possible. .
