Its 2007 looking back at last year, here where some of my frustrations caused by my love of this hobby, please feel free to share your random thoughts........:nilly:

Finally finding the fish of a lifetime, then you realize your short funds or room in your tanks.

When you realize your dream 125 is only a grow out tank.

Somebody always posts a pic of a new must have.....

You can never find enough scrubbies at the dollar store...

Losing one of your centerpiece fish after 3 years, from unknown causes...:irked:

When chain pet stores never have anything your looking for or need...

Your electric company sends you a "thank you letter" for your business


Here's to 2007- May all MFKer's have a healthy and happy new year and to the dream of the next tank setup that's just around the bend..............:headbang2
 
Love:
1. My comeback to the hobby last February.
2. Quick recalling of how I did in my hobby before.
3. Gain new friends on forums.:)
4. Enjoy maintaining the tanks.

Frustrations:
1. My comeback was marred by several losses of fish.
2. Columnaris outbreak last July which killed almost 1/2 of my stocks.
3. Expenses reaching more than 30000-40000 pesos.:(

Looking forward to a brighter 2007.:) And even higher expenses if I managed to encounter some galaxy rasboras and altums.:D

Don't blame me for the blue font, maties.:D :p
 
I had a fantastic year! There is no point look at the negatives in this game! What have you achieved? what have you enjoyed about being part of this wonderful hobby!?!?!

New tank!
New Gourami!
My plecos have grown about 10 cm!
I own a FX5 and it's still a hot looking filter!


The O's have grown 4 inches in the past 6 months.
 
Over a year I've gotten into this hobby full bore. Learned so much in that time.

Cheers to new projects, new ideas, advancements in fishkeeping, MFK's good people/staff/proprieters and new fish.
 
Over this past year, my small hobby took over my small apartment in a severe case of MTS. It's been a good year.
 
My number #1 problem with this hobby last year or any other year, is the hobby keeps me BROKE!!! But happy!:)
 
Got a job at Petsmart in February
Joined the hobby in July
Joined MFK in August
Collected some of my own fish from the wild in October

I guess you could say this year was good.
 
Yea Ive burned a few filters and lost a few fish,But my fishroom expansion
breeding projects,and topping 1100gallons total tanks for the first time was well worth it.
