Nice pick up. I got one a few months back and for a supposedly peaceful cichlid it chases everyone else around. Yours should color up nicely when it's settled.
 
Tell me about it, he terrorizes the Texas in our tank and we had to remove the JD that was about half his size because they wouldn't leave each other alone and I thought that it wasn't going to end very well.
 
and I thought they were peaceful..?
 
Mine chases the juvi JD and Texas while locking lips with an Oscar twice his size.

I have three and they are little butts! Nice colors on urs! Mines are dark:( . Not that rare here. Got mine at petsupermarket ;)
