What kind of sand did you use?

Its extra fine gravel . Its made by hagen we did 2 black to 1 white mix . Each bag was only 2kg so took ages to wash and mix but very happy with the out come

Very happy with it all so far i have a arrowana bircher which add a day and night to test it out first all well ph was a little higher then i like its 7.4 . Just put the male ray in hes made a mess of my nice sand already lol hes all over tank and as moved sand away from all edges the little git . All well so far pics to follow this afternoon

nice tank , are you going to add anymore tankmates, a tigrinum would look nice in that tank, i need to build my self one , but i need to get my parents to say yes first, they think it is to big. they will only let have a 3ft or a 4ft.
