Nice to see another Buckeye. You have some nice fish. Did you produce the festaexcarpintis yourself?

No i didnt so who knows if he is indeed a hybrid. The lfs bought them from a local breeder. He has some greenish blue in his pectoral fins and red in his dorsal. Then he has stripes like a festae does so who knows.

I didn't know you had a fahaka puffer! Very nice projects you've got going! What's the fahaka like to keep? Kimmie wants a dogface puffer really bad but I'm not willing to put up and help maintain a saltwater tank until all of our projects get consolidated. I love your fahaka though!

Yep we have a ton of growouts lol. Unfortunately i dont think ill be able to keep them all forever. Our fahaka is awesome, very interactive. Always comes to the front of the tank when im around the tank. Rachel likes dogface puffers too lol. If she just like puffers in general you can check out the congo puffer, hairy puffer, dwarf puffer and the red eyed puffer. None of them need a very large tank and are pure freshwater. I think puffers are so fun to watch. The only bad part is they pretty much always have to be kept by themselves. Thank you though!

Rachel has possibly one of the nicest angels ive seen. It has really nice blues in its fins. Its hard to see in pictures but its killer.

I've shown them all to her but she really just wants a dogface. I think fahakas look the best of the freshwater choices, or perhaps mbu's. Mbus just get too damned big to justify keeping solo. Wouldn't mind using the 180 for a fahaka though. Maybe she'll come around if I randomly get one without telling her its coming :p

That angel looks rad. Such underrated fish. Veil angels used to be a favorite before I got into monsters.

I agree with the fahaka. Some get these reds that are just stunning. She will come around sooner or later lol! Angels are so funny. They have great personalities too

Well one of my worst fears happened. My endli jumped out of the tank.. luckily i found him but i think its too late. He was stuck to the concrete pretty good. I put him back in the tank and he started breathing after a minute or two but his stomach and fins are really red. What can i do to help him? Anything? Also what are you guys using to cover little gaps that you have towards the back of the tank? This makes me sick. I feel so bad and its all my fault.

Try to increase O2 and keep water clean....Try to keep nitrates as low as possibly. I would remove him from net if possible, he'll be able to breath easier. Hopefully he pulls thru.
