can someone that knows, tell me how many out of my 11 nickle and quater size RB's ill be able to keep for life in my 100gal,5ft long,x18 and a half width, 0ne penguin 330 bio wheel, and a whisper 30 to 60 gallon, goning to be adding a canster filter soon, oh and how long till i know if and how many bredding pairs i have??

i say try to keep them all. i have 9 rbp in my 100gal tank which is the same dimensions as yours. and i see plenty of room to grow and plenty of xtra space. plus a larger shoal looks way better.
get rid of the ones that u dont want in a year. it'll be atleast 5-6 months b4 they start lookin at all cramped if at all.

it'll be over a year b4 any pair off if at all. no real way of doing anything to help. they just need to mature, and pair off. some people have kept the same group of rbp for 3+ years and never got any babies.
a year is a long time away,thats cool , i have that long before i have to upgrade my tank, what would be a good size for a school of twelve?
