Distribution: Red Sea, Indo-West Pacific: East Africa, South Africa, Madagascar and western Mascarenes east to Mariana Islands and Society Islands, north to southern Japan, south to Western Australia, Queensland (Australia) and New Caledonia. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.

Do Sathete live thier entire lifes in freshwater?

Can you tell me about expected salinity requirements?

Very intresting creature but info on housing/water requirements seems pretty scarce......

Etroplus canarensis sounds like a great cichlid to have in the tank.
