Here's a few month old pic of the male EBJD. The female Blue gene looks basically the same as most other standard Jacks. They actually just bred for the fourth time a week ago and I treat the tank with methyline blue so I can't get a current pic right now. They look the same but are bigger now.

Not to derail the thread, but... Do you apply the methyline blue directly in the spawn tank or move the eggs to a different tank treated with methyline blue already? Also, how safe is methyline blue for adult fish?

I have used it several times with the parents in the tank, it has never affected them. Most of the time now I just remove the eggs from a community tank and put the eggs in a different tank separately.
