DUDE I FELL THE SAME WAY I HAVE 7 P'S AND THERE ALL OVER 6INCHS. AND THEY R HARD TO GET EATING ON A REG. I FED THEM LIVE 3 4 TIMES A WEEK ONCE DURING THAT ITS A MOUSE, AND THE REST ITS LIVE BIG GOLD FISH. AND 2WICE A MONTH THEY EAT BEEF HEART AND SHRIMP. BUT STILL THEY REALLY HAVENT GROWEN CAN SOMEONE HELP?
their diet is terrible, that's probably one of the reasons they aren't growing... if they are natts, their growth slows considerably after 6 inches, cariba and piraya will also grow a bit slower after 6 inches, but not as slow as natts

shrimp is bad for ur tank it messes up the water. but is good for ur fish not a good choice to keep a clean tank

it only messes up your water if you feed too much and leave uneaten food in the tank, but that can be said about every other food choice as well.

Likewise here. I think it's faster for them to kill and eat each other than to grow to their potentials. Ended up selling it after two of them got slaughtered by the rest. I'll try my hands on them some other time.

How long did that experiment last?

when I read your posts I am left with two impressions:

1) The first is that I'm not entirely certain what your talking about. I don't know what your saying, but i get the feeling it's inherently incorrect without actually being able to assemble meaning from your syntax.

2) Secondly, I am starting to think that you must be a joke account created by someone who actually is knowledgeable about piranhas and thinks it's sort of funny to give people the complete opposite of correct advice. The disparity between what you recommend and the correct interventions for problems is too diametrically opposite from accurate to be common ignorance.

what? dont try to sound smart when u know nothing i have a outcast and he just got eatin be my other p.s and there all about7 inchs so it really dont matter the tank size or the size of ur fish. dont introduce a new fish to ones that have already been together for a long time
