Took the snake outside today. Turns out Oliver is actually an Olivia. Haha, I'll still keep her :)

I'll answer any questions, as always.

She is BEAUTIFUL!!!
How big is she now?

Beautiful!

How aggressive is she?

In captivity, how big do they get?

What a snake, I love it when you post pics of her. thanks for sharing!

Thank you. I'm glad people like her. She really is a great snake.

This snake is probably one of the tamest you'll ever meet. She never bites, or even tries to for that matter. She is normally very calm and does not mind being picked up. I clean her water bowl daily so I interact with her a lot. I've had her since she was less then 3' and have never had a problem with her. Just goes to show you how much cbb can make a difference.

As for size, I purchased her as a male so I was expecting a snake to get from 9-12 feet. But now that I know she is a female I expect somewhere more around 15-18 feet.

is that an anaconda...?

Eunectes Murinus, common name, anaconda, green anaconda, water boa. Yes all are acceptable. I also own the yellow species :)

Wow, what are you keeping her in?

Does she get to the same weight in captivity...around 300 lbs?

I'm sure if I over fed her like most people do, she would get very heavy. But I don't plan too so I don't see her getting anywhere near 300lbs. Maybe 150-180?~
