A spotted gar is a native lol, and the peacock bass are pretty well established in many parts of Florida by now. I don't know anything about the giant gourami, and the arowana should be fine. Maybe also add a bunch of minnows for food for both the fish and the turtles.

I think PBass are native at this point in FLA. Come to think of it, aren't Midas and O's on that list....
I don't know exactly where you could get them in your area but pretty much any creek or river would work, just use a minnow trap with bread in it.
I've heard just about any freshwater area (pond, retention lake, or ditch for that matter) will have gambusia.
Good point, Muske. Gambusia (mosquito fish) are a good source of food for both turtles and fish.
Even in Orlando you will have to worry about the cold. Peacocks do not survive much further north than West palm beach. You may want to look at some DIY solar heating.
