I get gator all the time. It can be horribly chewy if cooked to long. I can name about 20 restaurants around here that serve it... but I've never had teriyaki!
in louisiana we eat it all the time. can be chewy if cooked wrong, but if cooked right it is a very white, lite meat that is very good. and is cooked in many different dishs. as a matter of fact gator season just opened up last week. never seen it cooked with the head on tho.
Dude, honey glazed gator tail is freakin delicious. The ribs are kinda useless because there's not much meat and the bones are so small, but the tail is perfect meat. Unseasoned, it tastes kinda like really good pork chops....IMO.
Beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and a limited selection of fish for me. BUT, starve me for a day and I'll eat just about anything. Just like a MONSTER fish!
its a good thing i dont see that version of everything i eat before i eat it.i did have some when i went to orleans and liked it,you could get ali on a stick.however like i said,i didnt see that pic before hand
