Looks like nerite snail eggs to me. They do lay eggs they just aren't fertilized.

Ok cheers for the replies. Defo pointing towards nerite eggs then, ill do some research on them and see what pictures come up.
 
They are definitely nerite eggs! One look at google images and its confirmed. I only have two nerites and they are covering my 240l aquarium the little sods.
