bigspizz;3258777; said:Seachem has stated that prime does in fact cause oxygen deprivation. It builds up as well...So if you use a little more every time, eventually you will have a problem on your hands. It is safer to use as directed....What emergency would cause for a larger dose? Treat the water, and you are fine. Adding more prime, will do nothing....They would recommend larger doses, so you buy more. Not to save the day.

Anything will build up. If it has no where to go it'll stay. It may break down, but it's still there.sostoudt;3258815; said:are you sure it builds up? primes half life is supposed to be 24hours so after 2 days prime should be gone
