Over Or Understocked?

right now i currently have 7 african cichlids in my tank
all very different but are getting along well.

1 of each: (1 1/2 inch to 3 inch)
Bumble bee, red zebra, yellow lab, snow white socoloffi, Midnight Peacock, Sunshine Peacock, and a purple acei.

Also have: 2x 3 inch plecos.

Its a 48 gal bow front, a women at the lfs said i could do more but she acted like she didnt know squat. im relatively new to this game so some help would appreciate. The tank has been running for over a month now. the parameters are all excellent. Lemme know what u think?
 
Sound like a nice group you can leave it as is or add about 5 more if you want it crowded.If you get more continue finding fish to add that are very different fro each other.
 
keep up on your high good filtration because to many fish can clog up your filter over night from feeding them. I have a 10 that house 26fishes. and i keep a 50g on it work real well.

you have 26 fish in a 10 gallon tank? Im assuming these are fry? If you have 26 good sized fish in a 10 gallon, youre way overstocked.

i'll try to name a few..

3 fontosas
2female convits
3 neon tetras
5 pink convict cichlids
2 loach clown fish
2 procholuos
1 asain alge eater
4 ramsey cichlids
4 common tiger tetras
1 green tiger tetras
1 red tail shark

and i think that only most of them, i have more i just don't want to count them, So please feel free to count them for me if you like.
 
also yeah, some of them are about normal size like my regular convits and my 6inch redtail shark, 6inch asian algae eater and others too.
 
that dosent include the rest of my colletion my colletion is at LEAST DOUBLE of that of my 10 gallon.
