I have several guppies and a swordtail that have been pregnant for the longest time. I know it takes at least 4 weeks or so, but geez...these guys are overdue by weeks if that is the case. Their water is perfect..no ammonia, nitrites...they are in a 29 gallon tank with lots of plants and baby grass floating on top.

What's up here? Are they doing this to spite me? I know I am anxious (have nursery set up) but more then 6 weeks is a long time, isn't it?:nilly:

I found 2 more babies in there this morning. But, 1 of the original 4 I had died without any apparent reason this morning. I have them in a breeder net, and it just died on me. I don't imagine this is unusual. I don't expect all of them to survive, but will keep a good eye out for more this morning. Oh, btw...they are guppies this morning too
