I had to sell my 120 gallon because I moved into a smaller place. Now I only have my 75 gallon. On my 120 was an Fx5 and a 305. Now both of those are on my 75 gallon! Holy crap my water is crystal clear! I don't know how I lived without overfiltration before. Just thought I'd share.

LOL , I am right there with you. For added sparkle add a UV and some good quality carbon. My water ends up absolutely perfect with that setup.

pics as promised!

I've got a ~600 GPH sump and an AC110 on a 75...it works great.

Correct, Over-Filt is great! I have on a 47G am Eheim 2028 with Prefilter, a 9V UV and a sponge filter. I dont use carbon, since it needs to get changed ewvery month and Eheim Filters are monstrus, but I'm going to install Purigen. Any experience from using this?

Purigen has been good to me.
Since everyone is throwing the numbers out there my 90 gallon has
an AC110
a Top fin 60 (I use this 300 gph HOB just to put the purigen in the media bags it has)
An eheim 2215
and a fluval 405
and 18 watts of UV currently
overkill yes but I won't need to upgrade when I get a bigger tank.... or will i ....... :)
