Overflow box and breeding?

Anyway, does anyone have a creative way to keep the fry from being sucked in? Short of turning off the return pump?
All of my filtration is in my sump nearly.

I buy a seperate tank for fry............Usually a 55-60 gallon is what I buy for when it comed for rearing fry..................The first month, I only use a bubbler for filtration..........A wand and/or an airstone............Never use a regular powered filter for a fry tank....The current is too strond and they get sucked up.............Plus a lot get trapped under the gravel and suffocate, or are eaten by their parents accidently..............[

Yeah I've got extra tanks. I use both a bubble filter with k1 filter media inside of it. And a whisperer? filters, which I slide a filter sock? It's just this blue foam tube thing, I slide it over the whisperer filter intake, and nothing could get sucked through it. Plus the whisperer intake stays over a foot off the bottom of my fry tanks.
