Ok on my 225g the single corner overflow's slits cant accomadate my pumps output  what do I do?

depending on the pump you can either valve it back on the outflow or make a T to go back to your sump with a valve and then make some adjustments to it. very easy to do.

You can break/cut a couple of those slits off to increase flow if you have larger fish that wont fit through. The next issue will be the drain hole in the bottom of your overflow going to your sump. That may not be large enough for the extra capacity. You may have to stick with the above post to valve or throttle back your pump.

i made sure that the drain holes were large enough to drain the amount of water i am doing (2 1.5" holes). i just didn't take into account the slits at the top.
