That's great! I'm glad it worked, and I'll be storing this in the brain bank for future use!

Installed a ball valve on the other side. Completely silent. The slight obstruction causes the smallest of pauses in the overflow meaning only water is pulled down and it doesn't take air with it

The tank is still kicking my butt. Tore it down because the bulkhead slipped a leak and while I have the tank drained, it really needs a polish. Super hazy so I will be polishing it as well. Will be a new tank by the time I am done with it!
