Overly Aggressive Perculas?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Clowns are extremely aggressive fish. Not the kind little nemo most people fall in love with
+1 mine were extremely aggressive towards everything when they were first in there. but after i got them an anemone they kinda settled down. not to hijack this thread but does anyone know why they shake at eachother?

Territorial display, pretty much all damsels do it.

Hey I've heard marrons are aggressive...but are they only aggressive to thier own kind? I have one for many months who is very friendly, never puts up a fight with anything...but will kill a clown...actually did kill a percula clown.

All clownfish will be aggressive to their own kind unless they're a mated pair. You should research how they switch sexes and such so you won't make the same mistake again

Pretty much their way of showing submissiveness.
