What is the most overpriced fish in your opinion i think

1.)tigrinus
2.)gulper catfish
3.)price kio
4.)big dats
5.)african tigerfish
6.)leopoldi rays
7.)most aros-Which species? Asian arowanas are rightly expensive due to CITES status. Jardinis and silvers are cheap.
8.)Red tail catfish-They don't seem overpriced to me. Better that way than sold cheaply considering how big these get and how many catfish ended up outgrowing their owners' tanks.
9.)at my lfs BRISTLE NOSE PLECOS-Depends on Law of Supply and Demand.
10.)most bichers-Which species?

thats just my top 10 overprice Fresh water fish(off the top of my head

1.) those hybrid parrot fish
2.) $13.99 and up oscars (seen fairly frequently at those high prices)
3.) bettas
4.) nearly all rainbow fish especially at aquarium adventure columbus like $35 each. rediculous
5.) all chain stores "big cichlids" of any species especially dempseys, gt's
6.) medium angel fish - honestly seen as high as $30
7.) all common fish above $15 - such as mixed africans, common plecos
8.) most synos - add in that they usually come in under 1"
9.) discus-The price IMO is right. Plenty of efforts have been done to keep them in tiptop shape. Breeders are your better sources than your local stores.
10.) roseline sharks-These are high in demand and have not been bred in captivity yet. They are also on the edge of endangered status again.
