He is pretty cool but I don't think I could get a 120 or 180 up to my second floor apartment. Him and my gt just started lip locking so I guess the clock is ticking
Just an update, haven't gotten him out yet and I think he gave up on trying to beat Bobo (my green terror). Now he seems focused on chasing the balas which are way to fast. Hopefully I can trade him for some cannister guts
hmm I think in the wild or in an Extremely large aquarium they could possibly reach 18" but i'v personally never seen a jag over 13", I'm sure i'v seen pictures of larger ones on the net though
Jag barely grows over 16". you may keep them in a 75g or 120, I personally think that a 75 is fairly enough. Mine juvenile jaguar was eaten by wolf fish, so i don't need to upgrade my tank to 75g.
Jags are awesome fish and much like oscars they also have moods and they show it by turning black.i don't know if you would need a 180 to keep it obviously it will be beter but im sure it will be ok in a 75gal.i would keep it if i were (if you could get another tank) they are awesome fish.1 of my favourites (the other one is a GT)
