not sure of the gallon i was told it was a 155 but i don't think that's right the dimensions of the tank is 6'Lx21"Hx15"W
7" oscar
7" JD
2" black knife ghost fish
3" African brown knife

i was wanting to add one more bigger fish to the tank. plus a school of some kind of fish like silver dollars or something that has color and moves around quite a bit. since my oscar and jd just lay there and do nothing. or if i could add something else what would be some good options? i do have 2 hob 60 gallon filters on it and a power head in there too if that makes any differences.

the ghost knife gets 16" but it takes forever and its rare for and Oscar to get over 14" to 15" i have a Oscar that is almost 5 years old and its 14" but its wild and i have a ghost knife thats almost 2 years old and its just 10" so hes fine im sure he will get hooked on monster fish like we all have and upgrade to a bigger tank

That isn't a 155. A 125 is 72 x 18 x 22. Doesn't the ghost fish get to be around 20"? You will need a bigger tank once full grown. You need more filtration, especially with the Oscar.
ya in the wild not in captivity it is often only gets to a foot

you should never put two knife fish together unless its a really big tank..but you will need a good filter for the oscar

i have done quite a bit of research on the knife fish and in a tank they wont get over 12 inches i am already saving up money for a 220g tank i found one for 700 so hopefully before too long i will be able to get it. i am going to be getting probably a canister filter that is rated for up to 200g. these filters are just what came with the tank when i bought it. but back to the subject so i CAN add one or 2 more bigger fish and a school of silver dollars or something like that? thanks for the info so far.

I wouldn't add anything else bigger, no. Maybe a small/medium cichlid like a FM or Convict but very good chances you are going to have to rehouse the JD. Maybe you won't but I have a 125g that I had a JD and O in almost same size as yours and the JD would not stop thrashin' the O so I had to rehouse him.

You can definitely add a school of SD which would add a lot of movement to the tank and look good. BUT make sure the SD are at least Silver Dollar size or bigger so the O doesn't eat them. I currently have 7 SD growing out in a 90g waiting to add to my 125g. There was originally 8. They are about the size of a quarter and I figured they'd be safe since that's pretty damn wide for even my 6" O to eat. I was wrong. So yeah, just make sure they are too large for the O to eat and you'll be good.

its a 100 G and don't add more fish till you get bigger tank!

I wouldnt add any more fish until you get better filtration.

Once you do a school of Sd's and another cichlid should be fine!
