OVERSTOCKED TANK! What would you get rid of?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd get rid of the tank and get a bigger one!

But if nothing is showing aggression or killing other fish, then why get rid of anything?

Well all fish are staying in the tank for now. I believe I have everything under control and my friend owns a fish store so trading will always be an option in the future..

are you going to get rid of your ropefish? i've been looking for a companion for mine cuz it lost it's long time one and seems very loney

The Angelfish for the little sister and whatever she likes as the freebie. But not the pleco it will pollute the Angel to death in the 10 gallon.

Its irresponsible enough to knowingly keep fish that you don't have the space for, why delay the process for them to get larger? And before you respond with your friend at the lfs, why not give the fish now and prevent them from getting cramped in your tank?

I'm keeping all the fish for the time being because I may be moving out within the next 3-4 months so i will be able to set up my larger tank. the pleco will be gone no matter what. I'm undecided on what fish i wanna keep so i wanna see how they all get along till i know which ones have to go... Everyone does this unfortunately and ive done worse with larger fish. I always do the right thing b4 its too late so dont worry..

Unless their killing each other or harming each other and the nitrates are under 40ppm, then who cares. Do as you wish, I say keep it. I know I would.
