Me and my dad got into this hobby over a year ago, and fell in love with fish keeping, we upgraded our 36 gallon to a 220 gallon this past summer, and we went a little crazy with buying fish in my opinion, and i think our tank is overstocked, but he seems to think not. I've created this thread so you guys can state your opinion on my stock. So my main question is are we over stocked?

Stocklist

2 Oscars
1 ID shark
2 Marbled Headstanders
2 Anostomus
1 Chocolate Cichlid
1 Paratilapia Bleekari
1 Red Devil
2 Common Plecos
2 Banded Leporinus
1 Blue Acara
1 Wildcaught Severum
4 Silver Dollars(possibly Black Barred)
1 Channa Pulchra
1 Frontosa
1 Nicaraguan Cichlid
1 Parrot Fish

Thanks in advance

Justin

I don't think it's that bad at all. At least it's not filled with pacu, RTCs and other huge fish.

i agree seems pretty good to me but i wouldnt add a lot more. In the future just make sure you try to keep fish with the same water requirements because the frontosa need a higher ph than the rest of the cichlids but you can get away with it i guess.

umadbro?

Get rid of the frontosa, oscars, and definitely the ID shark, and common plecos.

What's the problem with the oscars? are you insinuating that his tank is too small for oscars?

i think the id shark should go but seems fine to me. this stock will keep aggression very low between fish. as they grow you will be able to sort out which fish work and which dont
