Yeah, what's wrong with fronts, oscars and plecos? The ID shark is technically gonna get too big, but a 220 is better than 99% of ID sharks sold...

Frontosas, as stated your tank isn't optimum for them individually. Thats why most people keep them as colonies in species only tanks.

ID sharks grow WAY too big and are WAY too active for even a 500 gallon tank. Oscars, no...They don't grow too big, but they are very messy and so are the plecos. If you love them to bits...Keep em, but you're going to need a lot of extra filtration, wcs etc.

Ah, if you're gonna breed Fronts I'd do the colony thing, but one should be okay in a community. They do like quite different water from the others though...

For filteration, we have 2 JEBO 839 canister filters

I honestly think your in great shape for the time being. As your fish grow, you will probably need to rehome the ID shark, and I would consider replacing the common plecos with a smaller species. But if you like them, I don't see a long term problem with anything other than the ID at some point in the distant future.

Anyways, do you have any pics you could post? I would like to see this tank. It sounds really nice.

Yeah, your 220 is in way better shape than mine. I recently got all these fish from a friend...my tank is starting to look like one of those ones at the grocery store you get trout out of :D

I wouldn't get rid of any of the fish unless you don't want them. You got a wide variety of fish not always kept together. But you purchased them cause something about them appealed to you. You might begin to weed out certain species as they grow bigger. Get rid of the bullies the fish that want to own the tank. You might start to like certain species more then others and might want to get more of those and weed out the others.

I would get rid of the front and ID shark. The fronts are rather shy and slow, may get picked on and they like to be in groups. The ID shark will outgrow your tank. In my opinion they should not be sold. Other then that it.s looking good.

thanks for all of the advice, and i will try to post pics, but i have to worn you i'm no photoagrapher.
