Overstocked?

I was wondering if anybody could help me by telling me if my tanks are overstocked. The first one has 14 fish and the second has 18. The list is below. Thanks for your help.

55 GALLON- 1x Electric Blue Ahli 2x Ice Blue Zebras 3x Kenyi 1x OB Zebra 1x OB Peacock 1x Red Shoulder Peacock 1x Auratus 1x Red Zebra 1x Albino Red Zebra 1x Unknown Peacock 1x Yellow Peacock 1x Venustus 1x Lace Catfish
55 GALLON- 4x Yellow Labs 1x Blue Johanni 1x Socolofi 1x Blue Peacock 1x Yellow Peacock 1x Unknown Peacock 1x Red Zebra 2x Kenyi 1x Ice Blue Zebra 1x Bumblebee 2x Blotched Peacocks 1x Acei 1x Unknown Pseudotropheus 1x Synd. Catfish 1x Rubberlip Pleco
 
for tank #1, you will need at least a 90 gal, thank #2, i would suggest a 125.
if all your fish are juvies, you're ok, but when/if they are grown, WAY overstocked. aggression over territory should kick in with that many fish in such a small tank.
 
Ok thanks for the help. All my fish are juvies now and i am looking to upgrade to a larger tank later.
 
Fish range from 1-1.5 inches. I have 2 Emperor 400s on each tank.
 
I used to run a emperor 400 when I tried salt in my 30 long it worked very well for me.

All I can do is tell you about my experiences. I'm just a novice. But I do have alot of africans anywhere from 2" - 5" these are in a 125 with a wet dry and a eheim 2217. 60+ last time really tried to count. I have had no problems at all. Mine is overstocked but man that makes a great show at feeding time. Just make sure you watch your chemestry.
