Nice one bro! He sure is a real stunner! I hope mine Nicaraguan male dovii turns out something like yurs...mines only like 4.5-5". Getting better each time I see him in the tank. Hmm I curious about how mines will react with a Glass Mirror refection...have yu tried that with yur boy?

Yep, he really didn't pay too much attention to it. When I was near the tank he still went after me even with the mirror up. I walked around the corner and peeked around and he didn't even bother with it. I ended up just taking it down.

He was really colorful at 4 - 4.5" as well. I need to look back for a pic of yours to see what he looks like.

Man I love Doviis... They are the embodiment of the perfect cichlid IMO. Too bad I can't get one.

He (I think) is still a juvie but is showing potential. This is 1 of 3 dovii im raising. My favorite one is in an open top tank (I will try to get picks later).
