P-14 stingray prices?

I won't be selling any pups if or when I get them sorry but I have a big tank to fill and someone to swap with to mix up the blood lines

Right about this importing banned rays

I have looked back at old pictures to see when I got nt 1st p14 and it was 7 years ago at which point the main reference for w rays was aqua log which states p14 as henlei

I don't think at the point I got my 1st p14 even had a classification meaning henlei were allowed to be exported

P14 now have classification meaning anyone importing them is knowingly braking the law

The brazil export is so tight at the mo I think it's a joke that people knowingly brake the law and risk anything coming out of brazil just to make a fast buck

It is poss to get captive bred p14 if people are willing to pay the money

Within the EU there is already plenty of adult breeding p14 to make a large gene pool so do we need to brake the law and the risks that go with wild rays

Every other p14 that I have owned after the one sold as small spot henlei has been captive bred if I can get hold of captive bred p14 I don't understand why big time shop owners or importers can't do the same
 
Same problem as always that's a pair price not just for females

The problem with buying a pair from the same breeder is you will be inter breeding

Something I'm not to keen on

Or you buy the pair then have to sell the male off just to get more females

This is why we saw 2 males going cheap on AC

Sounds like a scam. About 6 months ago I found a person selling p-14 rays out of (I think) Michigan? Of course the seller couldn't substantiate any of the information I requested- he was a total scammer.

There are very few people that can get top quality p-14's, stateside. I have a pair I imported directly from Thailand. I know a top notch reputable dealer that sells breeding age pairs from different bloodlines.

Be careful- if it sounds to good to be true- it is. I know a few people that have excellent ray connections from reliable sources. If you Pm me your source I can let you know or check with some of the others if it is OK.
