Think he is still about the same size 6 inches or so. I really want him on pellets. How fast does your guy grow?

I must have got lucky with my afer, he took cut tilapia the first day i got him and took pellets the second day and was not pellet trained at the lfs.

I have seen mine approach pellets before when he thought I wasn't looking so he might be taking them. Right now he is not in an ideal situations since he turned out to be more aggressive then expected. I am still trying to figure out what to do with him.
That is very true mine hates everything in my tank except the datnoids, he doesnt seem to care about them.

he might hate everything but as long as he doesn't do anything about it you are ok. He messed up my lei, tattered my group of L184s, and harassed a large bp to no end. Now his in with a Male nicaraguan cichlid and they seem to be working it out. The Nicaraguan cichlid harasses him during the day and he harasses the cichlid at night.
Mine haskilled or severely maimed 3 or 4 Silver Dollars, a red texas, a sydontos cat, and I'm sure I'm missing others. I have him in with a 13-14" FAT albino eye eye'd Oscar. They harass each other all the time, unless I give the oscar a mirror to attack!
