Also what is the best way to feed them, I've heard of training them to eat pellets but I'm currently feeding them frozen bloodworms.

Frozen BW are a great start, There is a few methods on here but this is what I do. I would start by taking your frozen cube and cutting it into pellet size pieces and drop them in like that for a while. Once they start hammering those, thaw out a whole tray of them in a measuring cup and crush up 2 pellets per cube and mix it all together. Then I pour them back into the tray like the original cube form and freeze. Then continue to cut them into smaller cubes and feed that way. It can be a bit messy but within a week or two they should be on the pellets. Its gets them to acquire the taste for the pellets. Then at random just start dropping in a few pellets here and there.

What other fish are good tank mates for peacock bass?

Ive found bichirs and ctenopoma do well, ropefish, even red wolves if the wolves temperment is right. Ive heard datnoids work, but mine beats the hell out of my Orino pbass haha hoping it calms down with time

The orino will outgrow the Dat in no time and it won't be an issue. You will have to start worrying about the O eating the Dat

This dats growing pretty quick and is already just about the same length as the O, you really think the O will grow that quick? In about a month he has gotten an inch or so longer

I came home today and one of the fish is swimming around normally and the other two are each in a corner and they are staying still near the top is this still okay. The water is what I said yesterday and the temp is 86 degrees and I added aquarium salt and oxygen.

curious on why you keep adding salt? how long has your tank been set up? When was your last water change?

1-2" P bass I try to keep them surrounded by live food....usually live bearers I take out of one of my other setups. A big plus they also act as dithers and seem to calm the fish down.

I prefer mysis shrimp over blood worms, personal preference as a supplement. I don't pellet train fish until they are larger around 4" and have been in my tanks for quite a while..GL like to see pics when you have ava
