Yeah all the time, right up the street from my house is the patapsco river. I catch lrg mouth and sml mouth all day long. plus more blue gill then i can count. There is also carp, trout, and shad. supposibly stripped bass migrate up the river in spring but i've never seen or caught one.
 
Very nice looking bass....healthy and great color:) they will be some lookers when they grow up for sure.

I try to keep them on a variety of food. cichlid gold, shrimp, ghost shrimp, crayfish, crickets, the ocasional feeder fish but not often i like to quarentine them for a couple of weeks or so to make sure there healthy. usually my gold fish in my outdoor pond have tons of babies during the summer months so that helps out alot and i know where they are coming from.
