P bass vs dats w/ bichirs

So p bass look like the winners. But are they good with bichirs? Like they won't eat my 7" sens and other bichirs I will put in the tank? I mean I bought a 29 gallon growout for new bichirs that look to small.

Just make sure the bichirs dont fit in their mouth. The opposite is also true, bichirs will eat cichla that fit in their mouth as well. Plenty of people on mfk have bichirs and cichla in the same tank.

Lol its all up to the bass and the fish sizes. I've had 3" polys with 6" bass before and it was fine but then again my buddy just got his ornate eaten by a orino that was only 1/3 bigger than it. Lol grow outs with bichirs are always a good idea though

Also the size of the mouth on the peacock bass worries me. I feel like a 10"er will easily gobble up my 7" sens

according to one guy on here I have a reputation for hating on Pbass, so there is no suprise I'm suggesting dat.
I have a little indo and he although a really slow grower is full of personality, he stalks the food I put in and constantly follows me around the room and is very interactive. put this vs a large green fish that doesn't actually do anything but swim in one place.

ps my 4 bichirs get on great with my dat. datnoids are a laid back peaceful predator, just like Bichirs and knives etc. I was fed up of having cichlids that beat eachother up non stop so I went for peaceful predator mix and it works great for me

i have 4 pbass and a ornate in my tank, the pbass never bother the bichir
