P-BassTank-Should it be Wide or Long

I Have 8 Large Bass 6 Mono,s and 2 Tems in a 10x3x2 and they all seems to love their space.
especially when they are chasing one another.

I agree that with their speed and power, length is good min 6' but width is very important, 2.5' min.
I can't wait to get my gar out of my 8'x4'x28" tank and get my Cichla in there.
Now I want a 10'x5'x2.5' or 12'x6'x2.5' but that's because my Monster tank now seems small.

I keep my bass in 6300 acre nolin lake. They seem to like it there but dont seem to let me feed them much.
