Another thing, breidohri with a black spot on the dorsal (top) fin are female. If it doesn't have it, likely a male.

Wow, he has some really nice color. Thank you for sharing those. Right now mine still looks more like the first one. He is mostly gray in the body but he is starting to get some red around his gills and has color in his fins. How is the spawning process going? Have any eggs been laid yet?

They're all different. I think it has to do with genetics. Starburst's father was super pink but lacked much orange as opposed to his mother, who has very purple and had strong orange in the fins. As far as I know, only some of them have the orange dorsal fins and even fewer the pink bodies. Kind of like how people have different eye color, etc.
