My gf just bought some of these little guys, i know they arent monsters, but they are doing something peculiar that i have never seen before. They are shaking. Almost uncontrolably. any ideas why they are doing this.



Just checked the water. ammonia zero and nitrites are zero.

well when the store only has four and you buy all four, what are you gonna do????

this is not a behavior they had in the store. they were in the store for some time, and i had stopped and looked at them on more than one occasion before she bought them.

thats the only thing i can think. Maybe we didnt acclimate long enough. But i didnt know pH would cause shaking.

For some freak reason her pH out of the tap is somewhere around 8.1 8.2. And the fish store keeps their at 7.5 7.6. We dont do that bag technique the places tell you to do. We did a slow drip over the course of an hour maybe longer. I know should do it longer.
