Interesting I am skeptical about big als as I once bought a bichir labeled Retropinnis which turned out to be a Palmas Polli. I will go check it out when did you buy it and were there many left?

i bought them on the 16th, there's tons left. i went to the one on north road. the one in Richmond carries orntaes but not the congicus
 
Thanks again I will go check it out tomorrow. Oh and in my opinion in a place where you never see this species 80$ is not unreasonable.

buddy u sparked my interest in the truth and i think what i bought are not conigus they are actually, [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]Zaire green (Polypterus retropinnis, formerly "Polypterus sp. Zaire green")
