they are labeled congicus. their about 5-6'' long and are very dark in color with a white underside. at first i didn't believe they were congicus but then i remembered a lot of fish fade in color as they grow older. also the owner of the store told me they were and he knows his stuff!

Interesting I am skeptical about big als as I once bought a bichir labeled Retropinnis which turned out to be a Palmas Polli. I will go check it out when did you buy it and were there many left?

i bought them on the 16th, there's tons left. i went to the one on north road. the one in Richmond carries orntaes but not the congicus

buddy u sparked my interest in the truth and i think what i bought are not conigus they are actually, [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]Zaire green (Polypterus retropinnis, formerly "Polypterus sp. Zaire green")
