Im getting it for trade price which is £75 its marked up at 180, it got sent in with the Humorosa.

are they the Humorosa that were marked up as true hystrix

Id be REALLY surprised that an exporter could not tell the difference between a cheap ray like a humorosa and an expensive ray like a Falkneri! Stranger things have happened though...

pictures before you buy... falkneri dont come in anymore and if anybody knows rays they will know its worth alot more.... ive got my money on its castexi but god only knows with the IDs your getting could be a motoro.... give us some pics so you dont get ripped off on a false ID...

they could be oterongo as i have seen some for sale but they were like £300 each

Do you know where Falkneri comes from?

Do you know where Hystrix come from?

Maybe do some research on the points of origin so you can inform your boss that you ARE NOT GETTING THOSE SPECIES.. and, the price is reflective of that..

Falkneri come from southern Brazil and Argentina..
Hystrix come from eastern Brazil..
the false Hystrix you were so proudly 'claiming' as true hystrix, come from Peru.

Now if your wholesaler was getting shipments from Argentina, and it was a true falkneri ray, the prices would be greatly inflated due to length of shipping, minimum orders, and difficulty of exportation from that region.. and your wholesaler is NOT getting shipments from Brazil, so they aren't true Hystrix.

Your "Falkneri" is 100% a Castexi from Peru..
Your "Hystrix" is 100% P. Motoro sp. "Peru" from.. PERU!

Whoever is shafting you around and filling your bagpipe full of wind, you need to talk with.. because it's make you look very misinformed especially when you start trying to brag about all these ultra-rare fish that you actually have no access to..

I don't know whether to feel sorry for you or get more frusterated that you can't purchase fish responsibly and/or keep tooting your horn about all these "awesome" fish that you will someday own, but not be able to house for life, which aren't even tangible items but rather a gloating method for you to inflate your ego.

I don't think Li is going to come visit you in the UK, no matter how many 'cool' fish you own.
