P. Lugardi

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea, the murinus and lugardi look similar and are related, I'll hopefully have my murinus on Tuesday and will post up some pics as well. Unless I lucked out and they figured this as a lugardi due to coloration and this one will brighten up after a molt and turn out to be murinus after all lol

How's the temperament on yours? Live up to the OBT stories?

this guy?I think they are related to either badgers or raccoons when cornered.Otherwise its very nice and faster than crapp with unpredictable desires to dart out of its cage.lol........................................Though this is true, you do learn their ways after some time with them just like any other, youll never, ever hold it though.Nice tall enclosure with branching for it to web. They can create a fortress. The height should give you plenty of time to get your lid on in case its headed up and out. They like to lay on their backs and strike upward at whatever is bothering them, especially misting.Grow very fast with each molt, not the best begginer T but one of my favs in a heart beat.Good luck.

Thanks Red tail. What kind did you have?
To be honest I'm not sure, all I know is that my mom found it at her work brought it home and I knew it was a female by the hair, and I kept her till one day I just let her go in are backyard and..... I never saw her again...again...again.... :)
So I really didn't know what species she was, but I can tell you she was native.

That's awesome. On the tarantula board I go to there's pics of people holding their baboons, I have no idea how they do it :grinno: Think I'm going to modify the lid so that there's a door in it so I don't have to take the lid completely off, at least until I know this one's attitude.
