one thing about this fish, they freak out real easy totally skittish one time i was doing a wc on my 180 and another fish in the tank spooked the big one and he rockets from the one side into my wrist on the other side

Also, when these fish are half as long as the tank-it's time to upgrade as they are very skittish and can kill themselves by running into the tank side and having their spinal cord get screwed, literally.

:ROFL::ROFL: that is Freakin awesome!! Someone that measures under instead of over :ROFL:

The ID in my avitar is currently 18 years old and just over 28". I also recently lost an Imperial ID. She reached 30", 6" across her head and weighed 5.5 pounds. SHe grew 16 inches in the 13 months I had her. They are skittish fish. I have had bruises from them during water changes. I also can touch and play with my old boy. Mine eat algae wafers, every other day. These cats are prone to ick. Make sure you add salt to every water change. Salt is the best medicine for anything these cats get.
